Free photos - do you qualify?

Are you one of the following?

• A school or university wanting to use a stock photo from this site on an .ac.uk, .edu domain (or local equivalent in other countries)
• A government agency with a .gov or .gov.uk domain (or local equivalent in other countries)
• A charity offering aid to the third world
• An individual with a personal website or blog

I can supply you a free copy of any photo on this site that is individually marked as being available as a free stock photo providing that:

• The photo is to be used on a website
• A link is set up from the image on that website to www.photoconnect.net
• An 'alt' tag is attached to the image - that alt tag should state "Stock Photo provided by www.photoconnect.net"
• As an alternative to the tag you can insert an unobtrusive comment adjacent to the image "Stock Photo provided by www.photoconnect.net", linking these words to this site.

To get a free photo:

• Go to the THUMBNAIL image for that photo
• Right click on the thumbnail and click on 'email picture'
• Send the image explaining how you qualify under the above conditions to scott@photoconnect.net
• Make sure you add the words 'free stock photo please' to the title of the email
• Send me a link to the page on which the image and link is to be installed
• N.B. That page must be in part of the site that is indexed by search engines including Google

The image is available at the same size as is shown on this site.

Please do not abuse this arrangement which only applies to my photos (photographer Scott Hortop) or you will be getting an invoice!

Availabilty of the image is entirely at my discretion. If I don't like the proposed use it will not be available.

You must also comply with the terms of the Royalty Free or Traditional Image licenses (details will be provided) as set on this site.
