Pricing explained

Photoconnect is an intermediary that allows buyers to make contact with photographers, libraries and agencies. Its role is not to set pricing or dictate how images can be sold however many sellers prefer to give some guidance on this website so that buyers know what to expect. It is for the buyer and seller to agree a final price.

Because our price bandings are not suitable for some sellers, these sellers mark the price of images as being 'On request'. If it is available and you follow the option to take a file download then the way that the image is available and the pricing will be set out on the site providing the download.

If you use a stock photo that is on this site without permission then, on discovery, you will billed, at a minimum, the Band D price.

Price bands

Whether selling royalty free or through traditional licenses, sellers may choose from one of four price bands (five for fine art) in which to sell their images. Go to the matrix below for detail of our pricing. Photoconnect photographers and buyers can be located anywhere. Prices may be based on the £ Sterling values in the attached tables translated at the appropriate current exchange rate in the currency agreed between the buyer and seller.

All photographs on this site are the copyright of the photographer. Please be aware that any use without permission will be charged at a minimum at the full market rate applicable to a traditionally licensed image. No volume discounts or other incentives shall be applicable in calculating this rate. Further, if you use without permission you accept that damages will be payable should the value of future or current earnings of an image be adversely affected and you also accept that fair time and other costs of recovering amounts due should be payable.
