Commercial Photographer

I am a commercial photographer based in Thames Ditton / Esher near Kingston, Surrey. I am the proprietor of this website (Photoconnect.net) where you can see an extensive range of my stock photography together with exhibits from other photographers. These images will give you some indication of my abilities as a commercial photographer but only give a flavour of what I can do when given a briefing to produce the right images for you.

My services

I have set up this site to help me sell my own images and other photographers sell theirs. As well as purchasing images from this site you may also hire me to capture specific images that you want. Within certain parameters I can do this for the same cost as if you were buying ready made images off the site.

In particular, if if one of the main purposes of the photography is to get images on to the web then I am ideally placed to help you. My services as a web designer compliment my commercial photography services.

I favour a slightly off-beat style - formal studio based portraiture is not for me. Whether dealing with people or other commercial assignments, as a photographer I get distinctive images by taking risks with angle, location and lighting.

On Photoconnect

As regards licensing of stock images, I sell many of my stock images on a 'buyers decides' basis so as to provide maximum flexibility for buyers.

If it matters to you, my images are captured either on Pentax 35mm, Fuji medium format or Nikon and Olympus digital equipment. What you see on the site are small representations of what I can deliver to you - any orders are carefully scanned and prepared to order from the original proof - this means that if you want, say, a more contrasty image, or a black and white or sepia toned representation of what you see on the site then I can normally do this for you within the pricing set out on the site.

I sell some of my images on Alamy - as an example, see this page. Where an image on Photoconnect is on sale there as well, I can link that image from Photoconnect to the same page so buyers can buy from Alamy. You probably have to pay a little more but if they want an instant download then you can get one.
